The <a href="http://poetsasylum.org/" target="_blank">Poets' Asylum</a> welcomes
<b>Marc Marcel</b> as our feature this week. Marcel is an internationally known
spoken word artist who has toured throughout the world, showcasing his seasoned
craft at colleges and other venues since 2000. A dynamic spoken word artist,
novelist, producer and speaker, Marcel was raised in Baltimore, MD and got
started writing in Atlanta, GA. Through his work, he promises to capture the
emotions and feelings of several issues including politics, love, spirituality,
self-revelation and the struggles of life. Marcel has appeared on The Jimmy
Kimmel Show and performed at the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Peace Ball.</font></p>
<p align="justify"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Come on down to Jumpin' Juice and Java (335 Chandler Street,
Worcester). The sign-up list goes out by 6:00 p.m. and the reading starts by
6:30 p.m. No cover however please put some money in the bucket; it helps to
support the reading.</font></p>

<h3><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Those Who Have Gone Before</font></h3></center>

<h3><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">February 14th Revisited</font></h3></center>
<p align="justify"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">It was a quiet week at the Asylum however those who gathered
witnessed a tight open mic and a great feature by <b>Cynthia French</b>. In
honor of Valentine's Day most of her pieces were love themed, though the
connections were stretched a couple of times. With a cover of a excellent
Tom Reed poem, frustration at failing things and a lovely tribute to Gabrielle
Boulaine she captivated the audience. Thanks for the words Ms. French. Hope
to see you again soon.</font></p>
