<h3><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Friday Night Youth Slam Extravaganza</font></h3></center>
<p align="justify"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The <a href="http://www.worcesteryouthslam.com/" target="_blank">Worcester Youth Slam</a> returns Friday, November 20th with the
<b>Worcester Youth/Clark UNIFIED Poetry Slam</b>. The packed night will
include a spotlight performance showcase, a youth slam, a Clark University
Slam and a special guest feature by <b>Jamaica Osorio</b>. Osorio performed
at the first ever White House "Poetry Jam" this year and featured on HBO's
"Brave New Voices" Series. Join them at Clark University: Higgins University
Center (950 Main Street, Worcester) in The Grind. The event runs from 7:00 to
9:00 p.m. It should be an amazing night with fantastic poetry all around.

<p align="justify"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><img src="http://www.poetsasylum.org/images/tui-sm.png" alt="Tui Scanlan" title="Tui Scanlan features on November 22nd - come check him out!" align="right" hspace="5">
This Sunday, November 22nd, the <a href="http://poetsasylum.org/" target="_blank">Poets' Asylum</a> welcomes poet <b>Tui Scanlan</b> as our
feature. Scanlan, also known as Tui-Z, burst onto the Hawai'i poetry scene
last year when he qualified to compete in the nationals in his first year of
competition. He has since worked as a mentor for Youth Speaks, released a
poetry CD titled <i>Patient Zero</i> and competed as a member of the 2009
Hawai'i Slam team.</font></p>
<p align="justify"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Come on down to Jumpin' Juice and Java (335 Chandler Street,
Worcester). The sign-up list goes out around 6:00 p.m. and the reading starts
closer to 6:30 p.m. The feature follows the poetry open mic. Please put some
money in the bucket to when it comes your way, it's how we pay the feature.</font></p>

<h3><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">November 15th Revisited</font></h3></center>
<p align="justify"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">We experienced a brutally awesome feature this week from
<b>Rachel McKibbens</b> following a full to the brim open mic. Which made for
one amazing night of poetry in Worcester. With a focus, conscious or otherwise,
on family interactions Rachel's poems brought the sometimes awful truths about
those we spend our lives with crashing home. From staggeringly beautiful to
heart-wrentchingly honest her words pack a wallop and leave you wanting more.
Fantastic stuff Rachel. Thanks for sharing your work with us.</font></p>
