Worcester slammer Melinda Lee. Born and raised in Long Beach, CA,
Melinda began experimenting with words at 14. At 15, she co-organized a
spontaneous outdoor open mic held in Amherst. Since her move to Worcester, MA
in early 2007, development in the arts has been a rudimentary focus of hers.
Circa February 2009, Melinda self-published a zine titled Dert: A Manifesto
of Art & Poetry. Melinda is one of the bright new voices heard in
Worcester. We hope you'll join us to hear what she has to share.
