<h3><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">March 1st Revisited</font></h3></center>
<p align="justify"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">There may have been more folks in the <b>100 Word Slam</b>
than in the open mic this week but that's OK. Hardy poets gathered at Jumpin'
Juice & Java Sunday night despite the pending winter storm for a bit of word
play. The challenge was to craft two poems using 100 words. 8 poets rose
to the task, though one had to drop out because he didn't realize he needed two
pieces. Still there was some interesting work, a couple of real gems and a lot
of new writing going one. At the end of the night <u>Melinda</u> took first
place and the $50 prize that went with it.</font></p>
<p align="justify"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Thanks to everyone who competed and came out for the fun.</font></p>
