<p align="justify"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Worcester Storytellers meets on the second Friday of each
month at the Village Arts Gallery (1 Ekman Street, Worcester). The reading
starts at 8:00 p.m. There will be an open mic followed <b>Eleanor
Vincelette</b> will be the feature. Worcester Storytellers never charges a
cover. They ask you throw some money into the basket to support the artists

<h3><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Coming up on Sunday, May 11th</font></h3></center>
<p align="justify"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">This week at the Poets' Asylum we aren't really sure what we'll
be doing. Our scheduled feature had to bail due to unforeseen woes. We are
putting our noodles together to figure out a replacement. As soon as
we do we'll get it up on the big board (that would be here). Regardless we'll
still have a killer open mic so come on down to the <a href="http://theqma.com/" target="_blank"> The Q Cafe</a> (362 Chandler Street, Worcester). The open mic
sign-up list goes out around 7:00 p.m. and the reading starts closer to 7:30
p.m. No cover; please throw some money in the bucket to support the reading.

<h3><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">May 4th Revisited</font></h3></center>
<p align="justify"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The house was packed for the <b>Spring Semi-Final Slam</b>.
Bill MacMillan hosted the evening with his usual gruff humor. Eight slammers
took the stage in the slam - Jon Wolf, Liz Heath, Nick Davis, Erin Jackson,
Tak, Gary Hoare, Dave Keali'i and Kate Richardson. After the smoke cleared
and the math was double-checked we found Nick, Erin, Gary and Dave had earned
to top four spots. They move on to the 2008 Worcester Slam Team Final on May
25th. Thanks to all the competitors, judges and audience members for making
this a great night.</font></p>
