March 8th Revisited
This week the Asylum welcomed back former regular *Seren Divine*. She kicked
off her set with a couple of old school classics and then moved on to newer,
less slam oriented, work. She read a number of poems about the cultural
shock of moving from Worcester to New York City and she hit a political note
with several pieces about queer consciousness. She closed out the night with
a short set of poems accompanied by acoustic guitar weilded by her friend
Danielle. Overall a nice set from the veteran performer. Don't be a stranger
Seren.
