[image: stacked coins] Last Sunday, June 24th, we held our first *Art

dozen artists were available for both immediate purchase and auction

expenses. We greatly appreciate all those who helped make this quickly put
together event a success. We hope you will join us on July 15th for the
annual Asylum Auction.
Many thanks to the artists who donated their work: Liz Heath, Gary Hoare,
Cynthia Keeley, Mareh Labenski, Dave Macpherson, Heather Macpherson, Bill
MacMillan, Sou MacMillan, Kaley Parenteau, Brian Sampson, Andrew Watt and
Jon Wolf.
Thanks to Cowboy Matt for providing music during the afternoon.

June 24th Revisited
Excellent evening at the Asylum this week with a lively audience and poetry
galore. On tap this week was a book reading by some of the poets whose work
appears in Look! Up In the Sky! <http://www.lulu.com/content/562064> - an
anthology of comic book poetry. Worcester poets were well represented in the
collection and almost a dozen of them came out for this event. It was great
to hear the diverse voices and view points centered around a common theme.
All the money raised in the bucket pass this week will be donated to the
Fenway Community Health Center in memory of Lisa King.
